Hi, I’m Chelsea
I’m here to help you kick cancer’s ass.
If you’ve ever had cancer than you know it sucks. You know how it drags you down through the mud like a bad hangover that lasts for 6 months to years down the road.
I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian metastatic papillary serous adenocarcinoma in August of 2011.
I remember when I had my first chemo treatment, I was pretty sure I was going to die from chemo before I ever died from cancer. It was probably the worst time of my life. But in between treatments I got these moments of clarity.
I wrote this in my journal on December 28th, 2011:
“Remember how you feel at this very moment. Take a few deep breaths. Everything is going to be alright. You will get through this. You will feel better and grow hair back. You will move on from this and go on epic adventures. You will have an amazing life. You can do this. You know what you have to do. Your body is beautiful and so are you. You’re friends love you and care about you. You have an amazing and supportive family. Life is great. And beautiful. Live everyday with love and peace in your heart. Free your mind from hate and negativity. There is an opportunity around every corner. There is an end to this darkness”
And I can honestly say that those thoughts became true. There was an end to the darkness. I learned to take care of my body and mind and I learned to live my dreams.
